Jane & Nick
Castle Hills House

A large, informal, mostly woodland garden planted on a steep south-facing slope with fantastic views east and west along the river Tweed. Restoration work continues to be focused on managing the woodland and uncovering the original layout of the garden which has allowed some of the existing planting to recover.
An area of grass has been left uncut at the bottom of the garden, next to the river footpath, to encourage wildflowers. It is a very wildlife friendly garden!
