Welcome to the Castle Parks
John Cairns gifted the land specifically so that it could used
by the people of Berwick upon Tweed to relax and enjoy themselves.
From a safe place to go jogging, to admiring our beautiful sculptures,
people are returning to these rejuvenated spaces and enjoying them
in ways Mr Cairns could not have conceived.
The parks remain fully open for
much-needed fresh air and exercise.
The exciting new Tweed & Coast Nature Trail
is also now open, from
Coronation Park (Tommy the Miller's)
to the end of Spittal promenade.
Please keep 6ft apart from
other people that you meet.
