Open Gardens 2025 was held on Sunday 15 June

We had another amazing year with over 380 adult visitors, a few children and a lot of dogs! We raised over £3,200 for the parks, another record amount.

The weather was kind to us, warm all day with a bit of a breeze, sunny in the morning and sunny spells in the afternoon.

A big thank you to our Open Gardeners and to all who visited.

Jean's quilt

Peter Watts held a silent auction for this beautiful floral Baltimore quilt which was a project of Jean Watts, a supporter of the Friends of Castle Parks. She completed all the appliqué work but when she got a terminal diagnosis, she invited the Berwick U3A Hand Quilting Group to complete it.
Peter very generously donated the wonderful £350 raised in the auction to help enhance and maintain the parks.
